Hello, I’m Amy. Before I joined Genesis, I worked as an office manager for a prenatal office. I had great love for what I did but I was yearning for something more fulfilling. As soon as I joined Genesis, I knew this was where I wanted to be. Dr. Kashyap and the staff are amazing. It was obvious from the beginning that their level of passion and commitment was truly something rare and special. Recently my fiancé and I have learned of complications with our own fertility so I now truly understand how this can be a very stressful and devastating time in a couple’s life. The staff here have such warm hearts and will care for you as if you were family.
Hi, my name is Ashley. I am one of the nursing assistants here at Genesis Fertility Centre. You may see me in various areas of the clinic but mostly in your morning scans. Before I joined Genesis I worked in gynecology, oncology and palliative home care. I had great affection for what I did but I was looking for something more for my career. So when I found out Genesis was hiring I knew it would be exactly what I was looking for – regardless of how challenging it was going to be – since my journey to Genesis started even before nursing school.
Hi my name is Brenda and I’m a nursing assistant at Genesis Fertility Centre, specializing in the egg freezing program.
In 1990, I graduated from the Vancouver General Hospital (VGH) School of Nursing and started working on a busy Medical Surgical Unit focused primarily on gynecology and oncology. After a few years of gaining valuable experience, I happily joined the BC Women’s Hospital’s maternity ward. I loved my job but I was needed at home when my youngest child developed an immune condition. Even though I left the health care world, my passion for nursing and women’s health never faded.
