冻精是指收集，冷冻并储存精子。 精子可以是从新鲜射出的精液中提取，也可以通过睾丸穿刺获取。
冻精原因有因癌症治疗而保存生育力， 睾丸功能急性衰竭或者输精管结扎术前。
如果需要短期内使用，精子会被就地冷冻储存。否则会被运送到REPROMED长期储存。
